  • Shipper / Receiver / Order Picker

      Reports to: Team Lead
      Hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
      Location: Oakville
      Positions: 1

      Overview

      This is a permanent full time position where you are responsible for Shipper / Receiver / Order Picker that would include but limited to order picking, load and unload shipments, organization of warehouse, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.

      Responsibilities and Duties

      • Responsible for receiving into inventory all products ordered by our company from a variety of vendors nationwide
      • Verify, inspect, and ensure accurate contents of deliveries and shipments
      • Handle and organize warehouse inventory
      • Pack, seal and label materials
      • Help with order picking when Receiving is slow, and when there is a heavy load of orders to pick due to customer demands
      • Deliver and move materials internally to and from departments and shelves
      • Load and unload truck deliveries and shipments both manually and with the aid of pump trucks
      • Assist other team members and departments as needed to ensure smooth business operations
      • Upkeep of storage shelves, and maintenance of inventory, equipment, maintain and clean work area, office and inventory areas
      • Participate and comply with Health and Safety procedures and training

      • Other duties may be assigned by Team Lead

      Qualifications and Skills
      • Ability to operate a reach-type forklift safely and proficiently
      • Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds, as well as handling skids, crates, and pipe products of various physical shapes daily
      • 1 year of customer service experience
      • Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office)
      • Strong attention to detail, with above average organizational skills, detailed orientated
      • Willing to learn HVAC products
      • Required to have your own CSA approved safety shoes to start
